Hey guys,
as you know Dan and i went up to the farm for a bit. It was great fun as usual, and even more fun cause we got to ride our awesome ponies.
Ok well we kind of went on a bif of an adventure... this is how it went.
We begun our ride as usual
took in the lovely landscape
We soon turned a corner onto a different track and it was here we truly begun our journey into the great unknown
the track (which is actually a fire break) just seemed to go on forever....
Then we decided that it was time to get interesting so we got off our ponies and stepped over the fence and crossed the threshold into a new land
Danielle was very excited by this
So was Indi, as he looked bodly ahead into this new land
But before we could proceed, we thought it best to take some happy snaps, just so in case we did get lost and disappear off the face of the earth, the rescue crews would find our camera and learn of our incredible journey
It was smiles all round
But then it was time to saddle up! and get going
and so we begun our journey, that involved ALOT of bush bashing!
It was amongst all this wild bushland that we found a clearing!
After much more walking, we came upon another strange trail (ok so maybe it really was just a fire break.....)
But none the less, we rode along it anyway!
No sooner had we begun to walk down this strange path, that we came upon a clearing filled with JUMPS! we decided to explore!
So dan being the brave girl she is, went first......
Then it was my turn
then dan just couldnt resist going again
So i literally "jumped" on the band wagon and did it again as well :-)
soon we left this wonderful place of jumping and continued our journey across a wide clearing!
soon after leaving this barren plain, we came upon WATER! there was only one thing we could do.....
GO IN!!! so we did!
Although it was a bit chilly, we liked it (not sure the horses did!)
after such a long journey, the water was quite lovely.
so we decided to be very predictable and play in the water for a while
but when i was time to head home, Dan just wouldnt get out!
But, Ideal finally decided that she had had enough of the water.
All in all it was a lovely trip around the farm, filled with many adventures that we just simply couldnt catch on film, such things included, chasing goats through bush, racing through the pine trees and chasing a fox across a paddock, which we didnt catch.
Anyways, until next time i hope you all enjoyed the journey of the dark farm!
talk later! all comments welcome!
