Charlie got colic Again on monday...... he is doing well a lil fighter at heart.
Just a word of warning all horses will be due for a drench when the new picking come up from the first winter rains.
Unfortuneatly charlies is a little different to your average colic (sand in the belly) he'e not drinking enough water and doesnt like the mineral salts that he gets to make him drink water... so therefore he is not passing he food through his system properly. The vet then recommended that if he gets it again eg. over the next couple of days and weeks, they will admit him and have an interal look.... :(
But yeah happy days ahead :)
