Hey girlies!

Hey guys,

Just a quick msg. Me and Marc went on a trail ride yesterday. It was good fun. We managed to get Grace and Vei into the water! YAY! it only took us about 45mins! hahahaha. Marcia also managed to go in the water as well! grace helped her out by basically jumping on top of her! 1st we managed to get the horses in, without us being on them, then once they were ok with being in the water, we walked them out, hopped on them and tried to get them back in again - we managed, but we wouldnt have been able to do it without our trusty assistant GRANT! who came along to help us, armed with carrots and a pat parrellie lead rope! it was quite humerous! actually! Grace actually tried to jump over the river ( which was about 3mtrs wide!) she actually achieved this. Marcia's face was priceless! but once we got the horses in they were both very good, we wandered up and down the river for a while to get them used to the water, then we went home. but all we wanted to do was get them in the water and win that battle. I'm going to go back next wkd and do the exact same thing, but most likely go for a bit of a ride as well. so if anyone is interested let me no. Il be out there on saturday and sunday and il hopefully go for a trail ride both days after iv done some work in the arena first, i want to start going on weekly trail rides to calm my horse down and get her used to going out, as well as to mix it up from always doing arena work. And for the record i have decided to not do anymore shows or jumping until next year. There is no point rushing into things, iv got lots of time ahead of me.

Lats week on wednesday Jacky and i went to the SEC to go riding. it was AWESOME! we both felt and looked very pro! both Fly and Vei were well behaved for the entire time. Jacky got a lesson from Karris and i got one from Kylie. It was great! Fly is going soooo well! like seriously good! Jacky has got herself a really awesome horse!

anyways im off guys, just thought id say hi though! hope the new job is going good loz an dan. im officially half way through my prac!!! WOO HOO!
