Bess...As you gals may know I lost my Best friend on Wednesday 26 Sept 2007
She was the absolute world to me and I love her so deeply. She was always there with me, right by my side even when she was getting older she'd still be couple of metres behind.
We got Bess from the pound on the 25 March 1994 She was four years old, and boucing off the walls. Obsessed with toys and balls especailly her Frizby..(which was then later lost on our way home from Dongera, came flying off the trailer) and a killer soccer player, she could jump up and catch the ball with her front paws and chest really funny to watch. She loved the beach but only ever went in as deep as her tummy. Never really liked 4WD got thrown about to many times. So she used to run behind the car.
Slowing down in her older years, she was finally introduced to Charlie as we moved to millendon, you could see that he knew to be gentle with her and would let her walk through his legs, and nuzzle her with his muzzle, but when it came to jemmi she had some respect to fill lol.....
Jemmi kept her spirts high with, Play with me, play with me, play with me, play with me and shoving her ball into bess's face..
Too quickly it came round, and the most hardest decision was knocking on our door. My heart literally ached. I didnt want to loose her..
She wasnt alone Mum, dad, Bren and me where there with her and not soon after steve was too and shelley in spirt wishing all her love. We all said our goodbyes to my lil girl.
She is sadly missed.
Bessy was burried with all our love and marked with Sugar Gum Tree.

So sorry to hear your loss Jacky. Bess was a beautiful girl and had a wonderful life with such a caring family. We will all miss her.
