Monday 27th

Danielle and I had so much fun on Monday, we were so happy we could stay the whole day!
As soon as we'd arrived we rushed out to see Fly! And what a cutie he is, Dani and I could only gape at him, he's sooo stunning! He was laying down when we got out there and stayed down as Dani hugged him around the neck. We both love his white socks!
After petting Fly we oiled our bridles and did a bit of cleaning then caught Mercy and Condor. We washed their rugs (having to brush them first because they were so hairy!) then set in to groom for an hour, and boy did they need it. They were both moulting a ton! And it took ages to get all that shaggy hair off. Condor’s neck is sooo dark and the fur is so soft! He's still a bit woolly around his middle and legs. I also cut his mane and shortened his tail and forelock. He looks like an English horse with his short straight mane haha. So cute. Dani gave Mercy a bit of a trim as well then saddled up. She did some lunging first and ground work then jumped on and rode around while I saddled up and did some Pat Parelli. After riding, the horses grazed on the grass for some time and we had some lunch consisting of mostly junk food, except the apples :) Then the horses went back into the paddock and we got stuck into shovelling poo. Fly loved the wheel barrel and kept hanging around and following us everywhere which was sweet. Mercy and Condor also thought it was all very exciting. Unfortunately we hadn’t finished the top section in the paddock Vei is in or Gracie’s by the time mum showed up to take us home. Maybe next time?
Danielle and I were also wondering if you could chuck a couple of cup full of water into their feeds and give them a bit of a stir because the feeds they are getting are very dry (bran). Thanks so much! Oh and Jacky I'm out of ACV? I'll grab some tomorrow!
